A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is a secure digital key that is issued by the certifying authorities for the purpose of validating and certifying the identity of the person holding this certificate. Digital Signatures make use of the public key encryptions to create the signatures.
A digital signature certificate (DSC) contains information about the user’s name, pin code, country, email address, date of issuance of certificate and name of the certifying authority.
There are three types of Digital Signatures which are classified as Class I, Class II and Class III.
Class-I type of Digital Signatures are only used for securing email communication.
Class-II type are used for Company or LLP Incorporation, IT Return E-Filing, Obtaining DIN or DPIN, and filing other forms with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Income Tax Department And;
Class-III type Digital Signatures are used mainly for E-Tendering and for participating in E-Auctions.

A LETTER/CERTIFICATE
A Letter/Certificate Issued By A Bank Containing The DSC Applicant’s Information As Retained In The Bank Database Can Be Accepted. Such Letter/Certificate Should Be Certified By The Bank Manager .
